Our family screenplay, Penny from Heaven, has been officially selected for the San Diego International Kids’ Film Festival!
This story means so much to me as a writer.
It’s a heartfelt, magical tale about a mischievous little pup named Penny who returns to Earth from Doggie Heaven as an angel-in-training. But before she can earn her wings, she must help the forgotten animals of Green Meadows Farm rediscover love, friendship, and home.
Penny from Heaven is more than just a script—it’s a celebration of second chances, the power of love, and the belief that sometimes, angels come on four paws.
We’re so grateful to the selection committee for recognizing the heart and hope in this story. To be part of a festival that champions meaningful, family-centered storytelling is a dream come true!
